Introduction

The following information relates to warranties offered by NT Trailers . Please read all information carefully and should you have any questions relating to any aspect of this section, please us direct for more information.

Warranty

Trailers sold by NT Trailers are covered by a structural warranty for a period of 12 months (3 months for commercial use). This warranty period is valid from the date of original purchase and covers all products against defective materials or workmanship (jockey wheel, bearings, tyres, wheels, brake pads & wearable parts are excluded). Please note warranty does not cover a product damaged due to improper maintenance, misuse or abuse, accident, external influences such as water and fire. Warranty does not cover repairs required due to normal wear and tear. NT Trailers take no responsibility for any damage caused to property or persons through storage and use of products and equipment. Warranty void if physical damage found on item, unauthorized repair/service/disassembling, abused, improper setup/use of the products, failing to follow product instruction, stress the product beyond its stated limit etc.

The warranty will not cover any freight or postage costs incurred at any time. The customer will inspect the condition of the trailers upon pickup and report to us within 7 days for initial fault. Warranty claims generally takes a few business days.

Please kindly retain your sales invoice as a proof of purchase and must be presented when making a warranty claim.

All trailers must be returned to NT Trailers for warranty work to be done.

Inspection and Maintenance:

Upon receipt, it is crucial to inspect the condition of your custom trailer. Please ensure you check the following items before use to guarantee safety and optimal performance:

  • Nuts and Bolts: Verify that all nuts and bolts are securely tightened.
  • Moving Positions: Check for smooth operation and proper alignment of all moving parts.
  • Structural Integrity: Inspect for any signs of bending, breakage, or leakage.
  • Safety Chain: Ensure the safety chain is in good condition and properly attached.
  • Lights and Wiring: Confirm all lights and wiring are functioning correctly.
  • Tyre Pressure and Condition: Check tyre pressure and inspect tyres for wear and tear.
  • Noise and Vibrations: Listen for any abnormal noises or vibrations during operation.


Ongoing Maintenance

  • Wheel Nuts: Check and tighten wheel nuts every 100 km.
  • Hub Greasing: Apply grease to the hubs every 1,000 km or every three months, whichever comes first.


By following these guidelines, you ensure your trailer remains in top condition, providing you with reliable and safe performance.
